Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information SlabCheck AI collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account info: your email address and authentication data.
  • Card images: the front/back photos you upload for grading.
  • Scan data: the AI grade, subgrades, identified card, and market value estimates.
  • Billing info: handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

We use your information to provide and improve the Service: to authenticate you, process and store your scans, generate grade and price estimates, enforce plan limits, process payments, and prevent abuse.

3. Third-party processors

We share data only as needed with service providers that help us run the Service:
  • Supabase — authentication, database, and image storage.
  • Google (Gemini API) — your card images are sent for AI analysis.
  • Pokémon TCG API / TCGplayer / Cardmarket — card identification & market prices.
  • Stripe — subscription payments.
  • Vercel — hosting.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and scan data while your account is active. You can delete individual scans, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.

9. Contact
